She started walking!
I cannot believe it. She just let go of the coffee table and walked over to Pete. She's been cruising and pushing toys and holding onto our hands and walking for weeks but never has taken a step. I am beyond thrilled that both Pete and I got to be there. We've lucked out and been present for both Braden and Gracie's first steps which when you think of it is kind of lucky. For the amount of hours Pete is away at work it's pretty great that she didn't do it until he was there! Smart little girl - wanted to share her triumph with her Daddy :o)
Of course, I have iphone video that barely gets half her body because I was SO excited. Pete and I are cheering and squealing (okay, I was squealing and Pete was cheering) in the background. It's one of those funny videos that probably would be embarrassing on the internet. I'll take pictures and video to share today.
But for now....Horray for Gracie!!!
